  • army strong wife & rdawson - Thanks for your comments back. Army strong wife, your message was touching and -I'll admit- brought some happy tears to my eyes. Rdawson, you sound like a Pamela!! :) It's kinda funny because my husband, who actually watches the show with me when he's home, has always said I'm most like Pamela in the personality department. I agree that the trials and tribulations we go through as army wives only make us stronger and so proud of both ourselves and our husbands. Also, to Cathbellfan, thanks for the info!!! I have no idea where you got it from, but even if it's remotely close to what's actually going on with the show (as these things do change often in television), I'm sure it's appreciated by everyone!!! Take care of yourselves, ladies!

  • I received the Army Wives kit a few days ago. It is just wonderful. Has a nice T shirt, napkins, coasters and a DVD of season 1. A few of you were asking about it. At the beginning of season 2, there was a link to email about obtaining the kit. I emailed, received a response and really forgot about it. Just got it in the mail. a surprise it was.

  • Cathbellfan Thank you so much I am sure that this clears up a lot for people who didn't know, but I am just curious to know where you found some of the information, like about the holiday episode and stuff, because I knew that they were going to take a break until November, but I didn't read anything about a holiday episode. If you could let me know that would be great.

  • Okay, doesn't anyone read any of the posts made here because this question has already been answered numerous times.

Here goes. There are a total of 19 episodes for Season 2 of Army Wives. We are getting 13 episodes and then they'll take a little hiatus and be back for the final 6 before the end of the year. Here's how it plays out. We will be getting episodes 12 and 13 Sept. 7 and Sept. 14.(That's why there are no previews or trailers yet for the next new episode) Then the hiatus will start and they will be back Nov. 16 for the final 6 episodes of Season 2 with the final episode being a 2 hour holiday episode with a cliffhanger (At least they earlier reported that the last episode will be a 2 hour special and so far I haven't heard different. Also I believe they are taking the hiatus because of the other major networks Fall Season beginning the end of Sept. first of Oct and they don't want to have to compete with that). Then they come back a couple of weeks after the first of the year to start filming Season 3 for Summer showing.

I hope that helps and if something changes hopefully someone will fill us in and someone can post it. I'm sure Lifetime will share the hiatus info in commercial announcement so people will know what's going on. At least I think they are smart enough to keep the fans informed on what's going on and how the rest of the Season will play out, at least I hope so.

  • Hey puruquitathelaw There are actually going to be eighteen episodes this season, and the reason that they are not showing any trailers is because the next new episode isn't until Sep. 7. Now I think after that there will be a couple of episodes in septmeber, but then there will be a break, and then they will have five to six more episodes in the months of November and December. I hope this helps!!!!!!

  • Does anyone know why they are not giving any trailers about the next episode? I thought that they were suppose to have 16 episodes this Season and for the next two Sundays they are giving reruns. If anyone knows what is going on can you fill me in. Thanks.
