Here goes. There are a total of 19 episodes for Season 2 of Army Wives. We are getting 13 episodes and then they'll take a little hiatus and be back for the final 6 before the end of the year. Here's how it plays out. We will be getting episodes 12 and 13 Sept. 7 and Sept. 14.(That's why there are no previews or trailers yet for the next new episode) Then the hiatus will start and they will be back Nov. 16 for the final 6 episodes of Season 2 with the final episode being a 2 hour holiday episode with a cliffhanger (At least they earlier reported that the last episode will be a 2 hour special and so far I haven't heard different. Also I believe they are taking the hiatus because of the other major networks Fall Season beginning the end of Sept. first of Oct and they don't want to have to compete with that). Then they come back a couple of weeks after the first of the year to start filming Season 3 for Summer showing.
I hope that helps and if something changes hopefully someone will fill us in and someone can post it. I'm sure Lifetime will share the hiatus info in commercial announcement so people will know what's going on. At least I think they are smart enough to keep the fans informed on what's going on and how the rest of the Season will play out, at least I hope so.
