I want to watch this movie and meet Debbie Smith myself. I think her having to go through that or any woman isnt right at all and we should all try to help each other when it comes to times like this one. I give props to Thompson for playing the role, even though i havent seen it, having to put yourself in that situation of being a rape victim and thinking of how it can haunt you and turn your world upside down.

This was a very difficult show for me to watch because i too was a victim of rape. It brought back a lot of memories and pain for me. Although my circumstances were not the same i can still relate to this story. I hope that one day i will get the opportunity to tell my story. I do like the fact that Debbie Smith fought back in a way that helps other women. I never reported my rape due to shame and disbelief but i want to do what ever i can to help other women heal and fight back. I am still healing from this even though it happend many many years ago. I hope to see more movies where women fight back and become advocates for victims. I am no longer a victim i am a survivour and i am taking back my life. I love lifetime and i am truly delighted to be a member. Thank You

That movie was amazing and the fact that it is true and that woman did all of that after what happened to her I just hope that I can be as strong.

I work at a University Women's Resource Center that offers counseling and victim advocacy for victims of sexual and domestic abuse crimes. "A Life Interrupted" was an excellent movie that I hope will inspire other victims to step forward and use their voice to empower all women. Above all else, the victim can not remain silent and passive and allow the perpetrator to remain in charge.
