A gripping, true crime tale based on a true story. The wedding of artist Generosa Rand (Poppy Montgomery) to millionaire businessman Ted Ammon (David Sutcliffe) seemed like a Cinderella Story come to life to their neighbors in the Hamptons. The newlyweds even adopted a little boy and a girl. But trouble was brewing in paradise, and what was once an idyllic union degenerated into jealousy, open hostility, and resentment between them - leading to a contentious divorce to divide the sizeable Ammon fortune. But when Ted Ammon is found bludgeoned to death in his own home - the police question - could Generosa have convinced her contractor boyfriend Danny Pelosi (Shawn Christian) - who installed the alarm system, to commit the murder? Ultimately, Generosa meets an unexpected fate, and Danny Pelosi is convicted of 2nd Degree Murder in the death of Ted Ammon.

This movie was awesome and kept me going througout. I love movies like this but I wish they were just entertainment and not reality.

I enjoyed the movie, I hated she died of cancer so young, because she would not take treatment, but I believe Danny Pelosi did kill Ted , but I don't think Gene, knew anything about it. I can look at this movie over and over again.

tHIS MOVIE REALLY HAD ME GOING. THIS IS A GREAT MOVIE AN I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO HAS NOT WATCH IT YET. I WOULD REALLY LIKE IT TO GO ON DVD.

Good movie except for casting Poppy Montgomery. She is so unattractive. She looks nothing like Generosa, and there are so many good actresses who could have played the part.
